Included in the FY 2016-2017 budget (for governmental funds) are 708 full-time and 57 part-time/seasonal approved positions. Most employees are paid bi-weekly; elected and appointed officials are paid monthly.  As of 4/1/2015, all employees are paid by direct deposit.  

The City prepared over 19,600 payments between July 2015 - June 2016, to more than 800 employees in excess of $25 million in net pay as shown below:

* The holiday bonus, fire and police supplements, and final paychecks were paid by check.

The payroll staff also transmits payments and produces the following: quarterly reports for 941 IRS withholding forms, various deductions for optional life and health insurance, various other deductions required by law, and reporting of employee contributions to 401(a), 457 and retiree health investment plans.
